The guest cast of Fractures includes Robert Jezek as Lieutenant Tomasz Zbrigniev, Rakhee Sharma as Dr Hazel Wayward, Kathryn Akin as Zarna, Lorne MacFadyen as Sergeant Jack McManis, and Anne Odeke as Specialist Jane Rowe. 

Lead actor Angela Bruce said: “It’s amazing being back as Bambera because it’s been longer than we thought – nearly three years. The writing’s lovely and it’s really exciting what they’ve done with the characters – not giving too much away, it’s really asking a lot more. We show the other side of Brigadier Bambera, which you haven’t seen before. You haven’t seen it in the television series and you haven’t seen it with Big Finish.” 

Robert Jezek, who returns to play Lieutenant Zbrigniev for the first time since 1989 TV serial Battlefield, added: “It’s wonderful to work with Angela again, and this was a lovely script. It’s very condensed and it was nice to find the levels of the outside sections that are more action-packed, and then the internal interrogations.”
