New Torchwood Titles Revealed for 2022

The Monthly Range of Torchwood audio dramas began in September 2015 and features many of the stars of the hit BBC TV spin-off of Doctor Who which originally ran from 2006-2011.

Now story information, cast details and cover artwork can now be revealed for four forthcoming adventures in the range:

January’s Cadoc Point will find Andy Davidson (Tom Price) exploring the chequered past of his former art teacher, Merl Williams (Gareth Armstrong) after three students go missing.

Sonny, set to be released in February, follows Rhys Williams (Kai Owen) as he investigates artificially intelligent robot carers for the elderly.

And in April 2022, Infidel Places features the welcome return of Queen Victoria (Rowena Cooper) in an investigation that takes the monarch to the hallowed halls of Cambridge university.

Also due for release is The Black Knight, in which scientist Lynne Sharman (Safiyya Ingar) and Torchwood member Norton Folgate (Samuel Barnett) face a destructive asteroid. This March release is the replacement for Torchwood Monthly Range adventure #50, Absent Friends.

Torchwood: Cadoc Point by David Llewellyn

Sonny is the answer to elderly care. Artificially intelligent robot carers placed in old peoples’ homes that mimic the behaviour of their owners.

Torchwood: Infidel Places by Una McCormack

She finds the city a den of suspicion and devil worship. A force from beyond reality is hunting down the university’s leading academics. Her Majesty enlists the help of a gifted young mathematician to save not just the university, but the universe itself.
