Three Torchwood stories revealed 

Big Finish Productions’ popular series of audio dramas set across the history of Torchwood, the Earth-defending institute founded by Queen Victoria, continues throughout 2025 with new adventures for fan-favourite characters. 

May’s release, The Boy Who Never Laughed, features Jonny Green as Tyler Steele, the journalist turned Torchwood member introduced in the Aliens Among Us arc, as well as… Jonny Green as another Tyler Steele. 

Then, July’s Child Free is a new adventure for Suzie Costello (Indira Varma), who finds herself stuck looking after a baby. And September’s Salvage explores what happened to Torchwood’s iconic SUV, with Gareth David-Lloyd providing both the script and the voice of the SUV.

Stumbling on a junkyard of alien artefacts, Esther and Cody’s lives take a sudden turn. Scrap merchant Jed has spent years trying to awaken a particularly sullen object. But the Torchwood SUV has a message for Esther and Cody.
